Visitors approaching the solid imposing main gates of the Chapter House do so walking up a rising stone causeway. Immediately before this is a squat half shelter with neatly dressed stone walls and a pitched copper metal roof. A large wooden notice board is set back in the shelter and clearly visible to all who approach the causeway. At night two lanterns fixed to the interior stone wall illuminate the board. Hand-scribed parchment notes have been carefully attached with iron nails to the board.

A fresh parchment bearing the seal of the Preceptor of the Knights of the Code has been affixed prominently on the wooden noticeboard.

~Conditions of Entry~

I hereby give notice to those who would enter the Chapter Houses of the Knights of the Code. Events of recent times have led to the undead gaining entrance to the great city of Prodigio. It has always been the tradition of the Knights of the Code to allow free entrance to converse with the Order, except in times of out-right War. Thankfully, while this has not befallen us precautions must be taken.

From herein no one who possesses artifacts or tokens of the undead may seek entry. It is our concern that the fell undead enemy may seek to spy upon our actions. Any such person should seek audience with the Knights through a trusted third party, and expect any such requests to be highly scrutinised. Failure to respect these wishes will result in regrettable consequences.

A formal request is made for any member of The Shield of Lars ~ Order of Knights to make urgent contact with The Knights of the Code. These requests will ultimately be addressed by Sir Caelwin and Sir Niall of the Prodigio Chapter House.

A tattered old notice seems to hang on for dear life to a nail on it. Written on the pachement in very old shaky writting is:

The Knights of the Code recruit into the ranks of their Men-at-Arms capable men and women of all races. Applicants are required to be of sound body and mind, and prepared to dedicate to a hard, but rewarding career defending this realm. Those with the the talents necessary can expect promotion and the commensurate benefits.

one quiet afternoon, Ferret wanders up and spends some time carefully reading the notices.

He doesnt pay extremely careful attention to the multiple copies of the seals themselves of course, nor does he even consider the remote possibility of making a carefully cast copy of such. Actually contemplating the illegal uses for a forged copy of a preceptors seal doesn't cross his mind at all.

Soot notices the board, pauses and raises an eyebrow in amusement.
