Grift sits with his feet on the table, with a mug of tea resting on his beer gut. He is perusing some vital paper work relating to tales of saucy minxes and the people who love them, in Oi! Weekly.

A junior member of the guard enters from the back room with a scroll in his hand.
Grift reads the proffered paper, shrugs and puts it up on the noticedboard inside the hut.


It is common knowledge that the Demons fought on the side of the Darkness during the Impossible war. Therefore with there re-emergence they have been deemed to be a risk to the protected zone.

The Council of 14 has passed a law stating that all Demons in the protected zone are to report to their local Guard office at least once a week so the Guard can keep track on their locations. In addition, the property and belongings of all demons are subject to search and confiscation if the Guard feel that anything they possess may be a threat to Guard members or the protected zone. Finally if any Demon is found to be involved in actions deemed a threat to the protected zone they may be arrested and suffer any punishment the council see’s fit.

He then goes back to his chair and continues his important paperwork.

<Tellos enters the Guard House and approaches the desk>

Hi there Grift, how's it going?

I'm looking for Judge Ral Morga, do you know where I might find him or how I can contact him?

He looks up at Tellos to answer.
"Oh, hello Sir. I'm afraid Ral Morga hasn't been seen or heard from for some time. We're a bit concerned."

<Shrugs>

Nevermind. Have you seen an elf called Trevellian Moss around recently? I haven't seen him for some time and need to catch up with him quite urgently.

Grift scratches his head and shakes it.
"Nah, I don't think I've seen him in a good while. He's not wandered off with that other elf bloke has he?"

Excuse me, I was looking for a bounty hunter named Kell, he challenged me to a duel a few days ago and I haven't seen him since. Do you know where he might be located?

"I remember him.... seemed a bit... odd... 'fraid I haven't seen him in ages.
When I say odd, it was that he was polite to us, tha's all."
He smiles sadly.

Surely others are polite, it's only ne'er do wells and riff raff who are rude <looks around quickly> <whispers> not forgetting officers!! <normal> oh well, he probably realised what he'd done and legged it. Any news of Ral Morga?

Soot walks in and looks around, spying the notice on the wall. He walks up to the duty desk

Hello Officer I received a letter informing me to report to the Guard house. I have been out of town on business and thought I'd better get this sorted as soon as I got back.

The guard looks up from his paperwork, and nonchalantly looks over Soot and his belongings.
He rolls his eyes at the poster mentioning demons on the wall, and waves his hand indicating Soot can leave.
