A cat sits on the doorstep, snoozing in the sun.

<Walks into the HQ, the cat sleepily looks up and then returns to it's snoozing>

<Thomas looks up from his desk and his eyes widen as he looks at the state of his Captain>

"What happened to you sir, looks like you've been in the wars..."

<Nods>

"Yup, that's a pretty accurate description. Right, I'm going to need a new shield, also, see how much some studded leather armour will cost, hopefully a man by the name of Elsquare should drop by to register as a member, and see if you can get hold of Ral Morga or any word on how he is. He got blown up a few months back and I want to check that he's ok."

<Takes most of the instructions in his stride, but pauses when it comes to Ral Morga and being blown up>

"Umm, blown up sir?"

"Yes, it wasn't fatal for the rest of us, but I suspect that was because of Ral Morga. And I really do rather need to talk with him."

"Very well sir. Is there anything else?"

"No that's it for now, thank you Thomas. I'll be in my office having a quiet sleep."

"Right you are sir."

<Goes back to writing at his desk>

<Walks off to his office and closes the door. Lies down on the small camp bed that is behind the desk and shortly falls asleep.>

<Tellos enters and walks up to Thomas>

Hi Thomas, how are things?

Any chance of getting somewhere to bunk down? I don't think my former lodgings would be very welcoming!!

Have you seen the Captain or Ral Morga?

<Looks up at Tellos>

"Of course, we do have a room with a couple of bunks in.

Captain's in his room, having a sleep I think, he looked pretty worn out.

And no, I haven't seen Ral Morga, but the Captain has asked me to try and contact him."

Thanks Thomas, I'm going to get my head down for a bit, we had quite a hectic weekend!! I also need to speak to Ral Morga, if you track him down can you wake me please. <starts to walk in the direction of the accomodation> Oh another thing Thomas, do you know any seamstresses or tailors? I'm in need of some cloth.

I'll be in the back if you need me.

<continues to the sleeping rooms, a few minutes later loud snoring reverberates around the building>

<A refreshed Tellos emerges from his room>
Hi Thomas, I'm off for a wander, can you let the Captain know I've moved in and that I will either be at the Guard House or in the Inn looking for either Trevellian or Ral Morga.

Have a good one.

<Exits the HQ>

"..... his little feet, see his little nosey wosey....Damn, damn, damn!"

[A head pops around the door. After a moment to take in the surroundings Elsquare enters the room]

He looks at the person behind the desk "i hope this is the right place, is daniel about?"

<Thomas looks up from his paper work>

"Ah, would you be mister... Elsquare?"

"Yes, but Elsquare will be fine" He smiles. "I take it I'm expected then. Daniel said to come by for a chat next time i was in Prodigio. Is he around?"

"Yes, well, he went to his office for a rest. I can go and see if he's awake now."

"No need. I'll surprise him!" Strides towards the indicated door and pausing briefly to knock he lets himself in.

<Enters and approaches the desk>

Hi Thomas, how are things?

Have you had any luck in locating Ral Morga?

I forgot to ask you earlier, if you knew of any seamstresses in Prodigio. If you do, could you ask one of them to meet with me tomorrow morning, I'd like to commission something.

I'm off for a kip, I'm apparantly fighting a duel tomorrow lunch time.

See ya.

<Heads off towards the bunk room>

<Tellos walks out of the back room, looking refreshed. Looks around the empty reception room, shrugs and heads off towards the Inn>

<Tellos enters carrying an armful of white cloth>

Hi Thomas,

I'll be in the back for a bit, if you hear anything about Ral Morga can you let me know, cheers.

<goes through into the main bunk room>

<Tellos emerges from the bunk room, brushing down the front of his new freshly made tabard>

<exits>

<Sitting behind his desk, reading through some sheets of paper, Thomas reaches out for a glass and goes to drink from it only to find it empty>

"Blast... Oh well..."

<He puts the papers down, stands up and travels off into one of the adjoining rooms>

<Moments later, Trevellian enters the building. Looking around and finding an absence of anyone, he pulls out a scrap of paper and scribbles a note, which he leaves on top of the papers on the desk. Then he turns about and leaves, disappearing into the crowds.>

<Walking back with the glass now full of water, Thomas sits down again and picks ups the sheets of paper>

"Now, where was I..."

<He frowns at the scribbled note as he reads though it, stands up, walks over to the door and looks outside before glancing back at the note>

"You're not the only one..."

<Tellos enters>
Hi Thomas,

Have you seen The Captain around recently?

<Looks up from his papers>

"No I haven't, he left a while ago after showing Elsquare around. Now, what else was there... Oh, yes, Trevellian seems to have left a message for him, I was out of the room and he must have dropped it in then."

Well at least he's still alive!

If I see the Captain, I'll let him know there's a message for him.

I'll be in the Inn, if you hear from either the Captain, Ral Morga or Trevellian can you get a message to me please.

<turns to leave>

"Alright. Although, it looks like Trevellian doesn't know where Ral Morga is either"

Did he mention if he'd heard anything from him at all?

"The note seems to suggest that the Captain was the last one to see him..."

Do you know where the Captain is?

<Frowns>

"I'm not sure, I think he was mumbling about a shield..."

That wouldn't have anything to do with someone called Lars would it?

"I don't think so..."

<leaves>

[Feeling suitably trained in the arts of smiteing the undead instead of running away from them and sporting an unusually broad smile. Elsquare walks into the entrance hall from an adjoining room.]

"Thomas...erm it is Thomas isn't it? I'm off out for a bit of fresh air if anyone asks. Not that they will but you never know!"

[With that he heads to the door. As he stands in the doorway he looks back and chuckles to himself before leaving]

<The door flies open and Tellos runs in, VERY out of breath>

Thomas........ Where's.......Daniel........Elsquare.......Emergency......

<Tellos slumps on the desk, spies a mug of something, has a swig, takes a deep breath>

Thomas, have you seen either Daniel or Elsquare? Trelaine has just received a message and we are all needed urgently.

If you haven't seen them, can you get a message to them to meet at the Order of Sortiliges asap, and hopefully Trelaine will elaborate on what he has discovered.

Must dash.
