Just noticed over on lrp alliance web page their is a wispered tales event up at overstone park in northampton in feb...was planning to head up there to monster it as a nice warm up to next years season of slaughter any of you other locals up for it?

May I strongly recommend Whisper Tales for all those who have not tried it. Very friendly, system is nice and easy going.

The February oen is the start of a new campaign and well worth joining in.

Details? To be honest only detail I was interested in is the fact it's 15 mins walk from my house. I'm going for hack and slash practice plus apparently the monsters get free snacks

Legacy is the third campaign set in the game world of Min Hiraith brought to you by Whispered Tales a group that has been running for over four years.

The first event is First Blood and will be the last weekend in February at Overstone Scout Camp in Northamptonshire. The price for the fully catered event with indoor accommodation is £75 but for new players to the system we offer an introductory price of £55. We also offer a £10 discount for students.

We are a small club with a loyal, friendly and welcoming following. We run events for between 15 and 20 players. We make sure our players have an action packed weekend with some intense personal plot, dark and gritty campaign plot and off course event plot.

Legacy looks to be our darkest campaign yet with drama, suspense, grief, sorrow in abundance. Hopefully dispersed with joy, merriment and with a bit of luck, hope.

just been emailed by the group doin gthe event, apparently overstone have cancelled on them and they have had to reschedule to run up at a site in nottingham instead...:( so much for the early year warm up....

I have just had a mail from Whispered Tales to say that loads of there monsters have dropped out of this coming weekends role playing event at Nottingham and they are disparately trying to find anyone who is willing to monster for them. the weekend Free for monsters is catered and is at the robin hood scout camp just outside Nottingham.
