Large numbers of bodies have been found in the north west of the protected zone. Guard from the nearby lizard-kin lands are keeping commoners away from the area so information is sparse, rumour tells that the bodies were not of the protected zone’s races but strange and terrible creatures whose like has not been seen before. How they came to be here or why they are dead is uncertain, what is known is that they died messily.

The Lizard-kin have mobilised a sizeable number of their guard members from all their lands to secure the area, apparently leaving a number of their areas relatively undefended, whatever these strange bodies signify such a controversial act by the Lizard-Kin cannot bode well.
The Lords of lands bordering the area now effectively cordoned off are raising complains with the council regarding the build up of the Lizard-kin forces.
The situation is not helped by the recent declaration by the Lizard-kin that they would take the law in to their own hands when dealing with skin hunters and the Lords fear that they will now use this as an excuse to take neighbouring lands. As such the Lords are massing their troops along their borders to be ready in case of any attack. Meanwhile the Lizard-kin have repeatedly claimed they have no hostile intentions and have made their move purely for their own security.

Nothing has been heard of from the council on this matter as yet but they have been in several sessions lately reputedly discussing this problem and what to do with it. Whatever happens steps must be taken to ease tensions between the Lords and try to avert an internal war when we have the undead to worry about.
