[The doors swings open and in struts a Man of distinguished charm and handsome looks. He pauses briefly to dust himself down before looking towards the bar. He scans the bar like a hawk will search the horizon for his next prey, he seems disapointed not to find whatever it is he is looking for. His attention is soon drawn to the open door. He speaks to a young lad waiting just outside]

[The stranger becons in the boy and they both head towards the bar]

<In the corner of the Inn a leafy figure rises and peers accross the Inn....squinting a little as the firelight and light from outside combine to fill the room>

Now theres a face i've not seen in some time.....

following in after Didier, Laurie looks hesitantly around the tavern, waiting for Didier to turn to the bar before grimacing at the thought of having to dance let alone sing.

Smiling at her mentor, the young 'lad' follows Didier to a table, "Do I have ta' learn that now? I'm still aching from the beating I took earlier!"

[Didier smiles at Laurie] Oui, zhe best cure for zhe aches and pains iz to dance wizh a beautiful lady, Non? ;)

[Didier turns towards Trelaine] Ah Bon I see zhe Druid iz still alive, it iz good to see you again. Let me introduce my appretice, Laurie zhis is Trelaine, a Druid of great skill, especially being kidnapped. Trelaine zhis iz Lau'ree, he iz learning from me to be a Great 'ero too :)

[Trelaine casts a quick glance over the new chap and gives a slight grin at the sort of complement]

The tavern door opens and a Dwarven woman whose armour appears covered in rotten flesh, bone fragments and other nicieties stomps in, brashly ordering an ale before plonking herself unceramoniously on a chair, feet up on a second one.

"'oright Trelaine? 'ows it going? And you Didier.. Thought you liked the female types, not young lads.."

"I've learnt a few things already, unfortunatly running and screaming for help appears to be one of 'em"

Laurie blushes a bit at this and hides 'her' face with her tankard, pretending to take a sip.

You are obviously here to learn the next stage in being a hero....How to make running and screaming sound like saving the world when told over a few ales.

A bedraggaled dwarf walks in

Grinning at Katz as he enters, Kiran is about to offer him a drink when he falls asleep,

"What you been doing to him Dids? Last I heard he was travelling with you..."

Oui Lau'ree, women and danger come hand in hand. You will learn zhis soon enough.

[Didier turns to Kiran] Oui it az been a busy day for poor Katz, he 'as been fighting and arguing till 'iz breathe ran out ;)

the door opens and Vola the troll lumbers in, leaves the door open and heads for the bar "beer and food" (thinks for a sec) "lots of beer and food good" lumps a gem on the bar then heads to a table and sits down with a thud

Cookie comes out from the kitchen. Looking around she sees Kiran with her feet up on the chair, covered in gore and Vola heading away from the bar having left the door open. "Vola you may act like you've been brought up in a barn but this aint one, shut that door and as you dwarf, get your feet off my furniture and clean yourself up next time before you come into my bar. This is a respectable place even if you lot aint." (cookie has an even bigger 'don't mess with me look on her face than usual) :angry:

<Trelaine tries to hide a smirk as he leans back into the shadows of the corner of the room>

Vola looks up at cookie seeing the look on her face gets up and shuts the door then sets back down and looks over at Kiran ;)

<Tellos enters the Inn and heads for the bar>

Hello Didier, Vola. Long time, no see. What have you guys been up to? Anything interesting?

Ah Sar'gent it iz a pleasure az always to see a fine example of zhe guard 'ere. I'm not sure about Vola but I have travelled to a distant land, wiz the 'elp of my young apprentice Lau'ree [Didier points towards a young lad at the Bar who is looking nervous and shy].

It waz a most interesting time, you see we went back to zhe temple where we found zhe egg for zhe lizards, you know where we found Feral. Well az we were in battle wiz zhe Great Demon he used 'iz powers to teleport uz to a distant part of zhis World.

You would not believe zhe difference zhere. You see zhere are four elementalist keep zhe undead at bay using magic and zhe use of people zhey call Oni. Whilst protected they force humans to live a basic life and train zhem for only one goal, to fight zhe undead.

[Didier stops to drink some more of his wine]

I wasn't with you when you encountered the Lizard Kin or first encountered the Ferals, but training people to fight the undead sounds like an admirable trade.

<Enters the Inn and notices Tellos and some of the others>

"Hello Sergeant, where've you been? We coulda done with you on our latest trip..."

Sighing, Kiran removed her feet from the chair and stood up, making her way out the front. There is a sudden splash, then the sound of rain and about 20 seconds later, a soggy Dwarf enters, no longer covered in gore and having shaken the water off to avoid being scolded for dripping everywhere.

"Weren't even me birthday dammit and I gotta have a wash just to sit in a tavern.."

Hello Captain, I would have come with you on your latest jaunt, but I pulled a duty so I had to sit behind a bloody desk filling in paperwork!!

Looking at Kiran, Vola breaks into a broad grin. " first time I've seen a dwarf skin He he". Turns to Telos " me been working over side of town keeping people out of warehouse for merchant".

The dwarf wake with a jolt

looks at the table and see's the beer, and drinks it down in one

he then looks at Kiran
"Bugger...,have i missed yours birthday again"
stands up
"beer for the birthday girl barwoman thingy"

"Nah, you didn't miss it, bloody barwoman said I 'ad to clean up or get out and I'm in need of a drink so had to oblige..."

Kiran then gets up another drink for her and Katz, returning to the table with the other Dwarf and sighing as she sat down.

"Bloody Undead all over the place, I'm knackered!"

"does she know nothing about tradition....,stupid 'uman"
stands up and speak loudly
"the only's way we's can stand the smell of you 'uman's is to cover your's smell with a nicer smell of are own"
sits down
"stupid short lifers....,thinks they know's.., yet know's NOTHING!"

The door opens as a man wearing a lace cuffed shirt, swash-tops and a full greatcoat enters the inn, taking off his tricorn with a blue feather on it, he nods aimiably to the other patrons and leans on the bar.

Spoting the Troll, he calls a hello.

"Vola! Mon amie eet as been far too long zince ahhh last saw you, will you share zee wine wiz moi?"

Idead Katz where iz Ferret and Soot, I believed zhey both hired uz. :D

"Ahh crap, now there's two people here I can barely understand! What happened to speaking normally and who's ya friend Did's?"

Kiran, now sitting next to Katz, raises an eyebrow as the other peacock starts sprouting off, shaking her head slightly,

"I just don't understand human's..."

Where are my manners Kiran, may I present my apprentice Lau'ree, come boy, over here and meet Kiran. She iz a very brave hunter of zhe undead and by fair the most agreeable Dwarf I 'ave ever met ;)

It's good to hear you're keeping out of trouble. If anything strange starts happening, lapses in memory etc, I want to you find myself or Captain Yates IMMEDIATELY!!! We don't want a repeat of last time do we?

Vola looks up from his empty mug "ok if I forget anything I let you know Sarge". he gets up and heads to the bar. "I have more beer and what you got to eat then, I hungry and food smells good". He turns to Tellos "Here you want beer, what you say your name was? Erh waht am I doing here". :D
