The tall elf Anthony sits at his desk awaiting the next person wanting a message sent.
He looks like he hasn't had much sleep recently.

Busting though the door at nearly a run

"Umbrial, Is Umbrial in her office.. I must speak with her. Now!"

The mage pokes her nose out of her door with a yawn.
Skipping lightly down the stairs she greets Anthony and Avian with a little wave.
"You hollered?"
She turns to Anthony after a quick think:
"I need some one to go down to the Knights Chapter House with some scrolls and a copy of the catalogue from the Library."
A nervous and studious looking orc hastily finishes his lunch and raises his hand.
"Good. Whats your name? Grab some of the history scrolls and the catalogue and take it down as soon as possible. If the Knights want us to make them copies remind them they'll have to pay. But they can borrow what they want, thats why your taking the catalogue."

Ogrukh he replies before rushing off to the library. He is seen shortly afterwards Laden with satchels loping awkwardly across the hall and out the door.

"Right, where were we? Avian?"

Avian's head flicks back and forth following the conversation, then stops when Umbrial addresses him

"Ah yes, L'd like to make a better report then the one I sent you while away. Beleive me we have alot to talk about.. Pit Lord's, Pit Troll's, Civil war on the air plane, Rogue Elemental Lords, T'cra and lets not forget the undead....

You really should of come along!"

She eyes him wearily.
"Yes, reports had reached me regarding the whole Air plane.... thing."
A curious bitterness flashes across her face momentarily and then once more is gone.
"Someone was played like a cheap fiddle, and didn't think about consequences.
Open bargains with the elementals are dangerous, and may have far reaching repercussions not initially realised. I do not wish to have to worry about every single mage on the entire realm every moment for fear they may take a bargain that may end us all."
She sighs and takes a seat near Anthony.
"So tell me about your little holiday then." She grins, pulling a cup out her pocket, filling it and turning it milky with an idle finger.
Sipping gently, she sighs and waits for Avian to speak.

Avians shoulders drop alittle as he sighs!

"Well, first we had to deal with getting into the Lizardkin lands as the Dark Elf's didn't want us getting in. We managed to after some strange negoiations..

After speaking to the Lizardkin queen there we had to deal with undead and Ratkin, they were making these weird Hags that was spreading deseise. I beleive that Soot got a sample from one of the huge pot's that the hags were coming from.

Also T'cra were in the area looking for the Pit Lord! It turns out that they had on along time ago and from it's blood they had managed to make Blood Ghunts and a few other things.. So we broke the portal they had made and that very much stopped them in the area for the time being.

Oh at one point I was full of Mendak energy, I gave that power to a Pysion named Tets' Tom' something.. I beleive he went to the tavern!

Then i was tricked into helping Book and Trilane with the whole ritual of setting free the old Elemental Lord of Air.. I thought that I was helping Lord Lipth by helping Book and as I couldn't contact Lord Lipth I went along with it, Worst thing was that I some how lost 2 hours from my memory so I forgot just how dodgy the whole thing seemed.

After that everything went tits up! Soot and myself went to the Air plane and spent the night on the front lines helping to hold back the Earth Elementals while there was a civil war some way off behide the lines..

When we were sent back I became fully human, an experiance I never wish to repeat again.. Air magic failed, The Lord Secariy killed himself. I beleive that the Water Lord rules those lands now!

An air Elemental turned up sometime after that thanking Book and told him that the new Lord of Air, Which name I forget! was happy with him and that all Air Mage's would soon have to choose who to follow.. When the chouse came I stayed following Lord Lipth.."

Avian sits down on the floor with his back to the wall

"Then we came to the whole Pit lord thing! It was the pit trolls that the undead had control of that was smashing the T'cra, we found a sole surviver from long ago hiding behide a sealed door, an Sephalon. Eats Brain's! well from want we found out it hates T'cra and undead..

Anyway back to the Pit Lord! The Lich King had been there before and put some controlling spells on the spell that a powerful mage had once puit on the pit lord to stop him from coming out of the rift. With these Spells the Lich King was able to control the Pit Troll's which he had some of for bodyguard's..

We managed to break the controlling Orb and spells.. The Pit Lord spoke to us. at the moment he will only except those that are Prodigeen for it was the Darklings that had put him there to protect something of power but that was destroyed long ago when the rift opened"

Avian watch's Umbrial waiting for her to take this all in

Her eyebrows raise almost off the top of her head.
"My my, you have been busy......"
She sips once more and drains her milk.
"The new reigning house of Air is Boreas. I get the impression this coup has been on the cards for some time."
Filling her cup once more, she looks over Avian.
"So are you back to being your cheery half and half self?"

"yes i am back to my half and half self as you put it.. I was thinking that maybe we should arrange a small group tto go and speak to the Pit Lord"

A large man enters the great hall looking around at the marvelous building. He stands around 9 feet tall and is well muscled and moves like a warrior, always ready for attack.

The ceiling above him is a vivid red with yellow flashes at the edges almost like fire.

After some time his gaze falls on Anthony and he moves towards the desk.

"Greetings, incredible place this, I am looking to someone called Umbrial. I was told she was a person of influence with whom I should speak"

Anthony eyes the stranger with a curious look, staring him up and down with no little impression.
A smile plays on his lips, and he looks back to Umbrial with hooded eyes.
"Miss Umbrial stands before you, she's the one you'll be wanting, no doubt."
A tiny flash of melancholy rushes across his face, replaced once more by a lopsided respect.

Umbrial stares goggle-eyed at the stranger.
"Um, hi."

The stranger bows deeply to Umbrial,

"It is an honor to meet you Lady Umbrial, you have an impressive place here, well protected and has a few suprises for those who underestimate its beauty I shouldnt wonder. My name is Torvolk and I have been sent to speak to you"

Avian looks the new comer up and down, then stands and offers out his hand

"Greetings, I'm Avian"

The mage shakes her head out of a stupor and follows Avian in the presentation of a hand.
"Welcome to the Order." She bows lightly, gesticulating openly.
"May I offer you a drink or a seat perhaps.... you don't hail from these parts do you?"
She cocks her head enquiringly.

The tall stranger takes Avians hand with a crushing grip and shakes it.

Pleasure to meet you too Avian.

He turns and addresses Umbrial

"Actually I do not come from far away, the mountains to the north of the protected zone as you call it. We have been there for some time but only recently come to know of the existance of others so close at hand. Our...leader met some travellers from these parts, they told him that you were an influential sort who could arrange meetings with the right kind of people for and emissary such as myself. We have a common foe and as such we should work together"

She grins.
"Excellent, good to have you as an ally. Where would you like to start?"
"Ah, which common foe did you have in mind? We have, unfortunately, a war on two fronts, namely the T'cra and the undead, not to mention conspirators of both within the protected zone."

Avian checks his hand and is relived to find no broken bones

"If you don't mind me asking, which Leader would this be?"

Trelaine walks through giving naught but a nod to Umbral and Avian as he passes he heads straight to the library.

The large man turns to Avian

"The name of my leader is Magtheridas, he is strong and wise and has seen many moons rise and fall, his wisdom is heeded by us all and he says we must unite to survive so we come looking for an alliance. We had not been aware that we lived so close to many others who had....issues with the undead as we have."

He gestures to the large bag he has strapped across his back

"I have brought a tribute to show our intent and to start our alliance off on a good footing"

Rasing an eyebrow

"You didn't realise!, umm. have you and your master been in Isolation? He is wise in that we must gain alliances if we are to servive the Undead and the T'cra and I'm sure Umbrial will be able to deal with your offer"

The large man looks at Avian with a harder edge to his looks

"I realise there are differences between our cultures and such differences may cause some friction between one other for a time, but I hope for your sake that remark was not insinuating we are cowards"

Shaking his head

"Not at all my large friend, What I ment is! that its strange that you didn't notice that you lived so close to people who had hate for the undead..

we've been here 100's of years fighting and keeping out the undead!

Now to the point of my statement.. So how did you not notice us!

Kell enters the hall and heads straight over to Anthony's desk and hands over a letter to him "send this to lord Malnear and if he replies have someone find me as soon as you can" Kell then turns and heads out

Torvalk appears to be about to answer Avian when Kell makes his request of Anthony. At hearing it Torvalk casts a glance in the direction of Kell as if appraising the man before turning back to Avian.

"You were quite right as it happened, we have been very isolated until recently, it was only recently that a group of travellers from these lands forced their way in to our domain and we learned of the lands around us"

Trelaine passes through again this time heading for the exit with a look of some confusion on his face...

Anthony turns with a start in the direction of Kells exit.
"Oi! Are you going to pay for this?"

Kell stops then turns back to Anthony "sorry i have a lot on my mind " Kell places the money on the desk turning Kell heads out of the hall

Avian watches Trelaine and Kell come and go then thinks for a moment before carrying on

"Would your domain be out in the lands of the Sacari, or would your domain be near the Lizardkin Lands?"

Torvalk looks back to Avian

"Actually we are from the mountains to the north of this area you call the protected zone"

"hmm, don't think I've been there, whats it like where your from?"

Umbrial rubs her brow.
She looks round slyly, checking for listeners.
"What may we address your group as, good Sir?."
"Would your groups actions be connected to the recent... uh.... activity against the undead on our borders?" She points a thumb towards a notice board with a copy of the Rag and Stone pinned behind the slowly nodding Anthony.

Avian turns then walks over to start reading the board

Avian turns back after reading the notice thens walks back over to Umbrial and the Tall man

"Nice! more people, more power and I wonder where we all fit into this.. Well I must be going for now.. If you want me for anything Umbrial then I will be in the Tavern"

Avian bows slightly to Umbrial then turns to the Tall man.. Then Avian smiles, just realiseing who this man Lord must be

"Its been nice meeting with you, If you have anytime spare at some point I would like you to come find me out.. I would like some information that maybe usefull against the T'cra in the future.. I think that maybe you or your Lord may know such information.

Oh and before I leave I am one of the Prodigeen... Hopefully we will meet again.."

With that Avian bows once to the newcomer and heads out of the Hall

She sighs, and rubs her brow again.
"If you would care to carry on this conversation in my office, there are a few details we need to sort out." She grins, and leads the way up the stairs opening the door for the Torvalk.

A yellow light flares amongst the others on the ceiling, tendrils extending from its shape trying to get past the blood red ring constraining it. A hooded figure is visible underneath it. It spots the imposing figure and Umbrial and makes its way towards them.

Can I just leave some equipment with you again before I go to the Guardhouse again?

He starts to divest himself of bags

Umbrial smiles widely.
"Hello friend! Good to see you!"
She takes the bags swiftly, giving one of them an odd expression.
"Take care."

Thanks for that. Oh yes theres an interesting individual still living with the Lizard kin for the moment. I've told him about you and suggested he may be safer here. He has a rather specialist dietry requirement. Its all in the scrolls in the top of my bag.

Best get to the Guards.

And with that he walks back out the way he came in. Raising his hood as he goes the light winks out as he crosses the treshhold.

She waves half-heartedly at Soot's departure.
Following Torvalk into her office, she closes the door after herself.

Morgrim walks into the great hall and ponders for a moment , before sitting down on a bench and pulling some scrolls from his satchel.

Morgrim looks up from his scrolls and wipes his weary eyes , the ogre was still getting used to this constant study that the art of elemental magic demands the light above morgrim changes " where is everyone? " Morgrim packs his satchel and goes on the search for Umbrial
