Evening officer I'm here to report as usual. I've got some paperwork from the Guards office in the Lizardkin lands. Which Is why I've not reported here recently.

Soot steps up to the duty desk pulling his hood back an un shouldering his bag.

"Evenin' Soot. Let's have a look at whatcha got 'ere then. Get any nice souvinears we should be worried about then?."
The jovial officer grins, then scowls slightly at the poster warning about demons on the pin board.
"You heard about the new laws and these Brehon blokes yet?"
He points a thumb at another notice on the board. This one has obviously been added recently.
"One of your travelling companions has already gone in the stocks fer mouthin off at one ovem new Brehons. That, and insultin' the General."
He begins to peer through Soot's proffered bag.

Oh was that what Book was sitting in the stocks for? We've never got on especially well so I didn't stop. I didn't want to sound patronising or insincere. Bit of a diplomatic mess up in the Lizard kin lands I'm glad its over for the time being.

Goes over to look at the poster while Grift goes through the bag.

This Brehon thing sounds a bit more organised than the old methods. Not sure if we'll get more justice though. Still we'll see eh?

Turns back to Grift

Everthing seem safe enough?

"Everything looks to be in order, I assume these potions are for personal use?"
He looks over the assorted bottles.

Mostly, It depends who's dying.
He starts packing everything back into the bag.

I'll be heading back up to the Mage's Retreat after this. I need to find out what fresh trouble people have got themselves into.

puts bag back on shoulder and waits.

"Right then."
He scribbles out a chit and hands it to Soot.
"See you round."

Ta muchly.

And with that Soot turns and heads out.
