As usual, Thomas is sitting behind his desk sorting through papers.

A small mouse nibbles at a forgotten, half eaten sandwich lying on a plate upon the desk.

A very tired and worn out looking Daniel walks in through the doors and heads towards his office. He pauses and turns to Thomas for a moment.

" 'm gonna go sleep, if anyone needs me take a message. I'd prefer to be undisturbed until I've had a nice long sleep. However, if something really bad happens, not unlike a midden hitting a windmill, then I guess you better tell me."

<Frowns for a moment as if making sense of his last sentence then nods>

"Everything will be better after sleep."

Disappears into his office.

Daniel walks out of his office looking greatly refreshed.


"Ahhh, I needed that. What's new Thomas?"

Looks up from his desk.

"Sir, Well, I have a new rag and stone here, there might be a few interesting articles. That's about it really."

Pauses for a moment

"Umm, Sir, you do know you've been out for a few days, right?"

*frowns*

"I have? Wouldn't surprise me really..."

*Picks up the R&S and reads through it*

*frowns*

"I must have been, for this to have happened... I'll... be back later..."

*dashes out the door*

<Enters, walks up to Thomas>

Hey Thomas, how are things?

Anything interesting been going on?

Elsquare sidles through the door surveying the occupents before heading over to Tellos. As he heads across the floor he acknowledges the man behind the desk.

"Hello Timothy! or is it Thomas? Sorry we've never really had much chance to chat."

To Tellos "It seems Largos is safely locked away in the Guard building. At least he's in the building and someone like him usually gets locked up in a place like that if only to keep him out of the way."

"While theres a lull in activity here I'm gonna head off to the troll city. last time I was there I found out someones been passing around copies of potion recipes and saying they're mine. Apparently a few of them are less than stable when mixed and I need to find out who's handing them out before I get linched for it"

*Looks up at Tellos*

"Sergeant, not really, although the Captain ran out a while back after reading the Rag and Stone. I don't think it was about anything dangerous otherwise he would have gone armed. Apart from that it's been quiet.

*Turns to Elsquare*

"It's Thomas. Off to the Troll City? Okay, I'll let the Captain know when he comes back."

"Ah, Thomas! I'll remember that for the future. Just picking my kit up then i'll be off"

Elsquare dissapears into one of the adjoining rooms and returns carrying a bulging satchel. Waving as he passes he leaves the building.

"Toodle pip"

OK. If the the Captain or anyone needs me, I'll be over at the Inn.
