Title: Summer Event Dates

Omnipotent Overlord - April 17, 2007 01:44 PM (GMT)
Heya All

Ok the summer event dates are looking to be the 13th-15th of July. I have still yet to hear that I can take the time off for work but thats the only thing that may cause a change and barring WW3 I should get it but seeing as you are all asking for dates I thought I would let you all know.

It will be a normal weekend event at the farm, camping as it has in previous years.

Price will be set once I have booked the toilets and such but will be around the £40-45 bracket to play and free to monster.

Ill will give more info as I get it.

Well I guess with that, booking season is open once again, Email me with character details if you want to play or your name if you want to crew.

Laninia Summerbreeze - April 17, 2007 02:24 PM (GMT)
Book me and Dan to play, he'll send you his character soon and I'd like a copy of Lani so i can spend her xp please :D

infyrana - April 17, 2007 03:21 PM (GMT)
Barring an issue getting up there, Sir Val will be attending the event. I'm still thinking how to spend my XP, but will keep you updated as soon as I know.

Cheers,

The Great Didier Elan - April 20, 2007 07:23 AM (GMT)
Put me down to Crew Pete, I'll see if I can drum up a couple of other willing Monsters (I only want to kick Dan around  )

Dodgy Elf - April 20, 2007 09:07 AM (GMT)
Daniel! Does trevellian do last rites or are you hoping for a rest after the last event?

Oh yes and i'm monstering by the way. one less poo peanut picker.

Sir Niall ap Trahern - April 20, 2007 12:09 PM (GMT)
No doubt I'll be getting my share of shouted requests for last rites. :P

Sgt Tellos - April 20, 2007 12:14 PM (GMT)
I can do it as well now, but if you think I'm going to be running around like we had Daniel doing at the last event, you can think again!! The best solution will be to collect all of the bodies in one place and we can do them all a lot faster and easier.

Dodgy Elf - April 20, 2007 12:25 PM (GMT)
Seems all the warriors of light are training for last rites.

What we need now is for all the rogues to learn the skill. at least they then have an excuse for kneeling over the bodies on the battlefield while the fight is going on. A wonder Largos hasn't trained it yet!!

infyrana - April 20, 2007 01:44 PM (GMT)
Maybe Largos is too busy losing his dagger ? *sniggers* ... Sorry Largos, couldn't resist ;)

Daniel - did you ever get ranged last rite ?!

Tellos - indeed, buy strength, lug bodies into one mass centre pile.

Laninia Summerbreeze - April 20, 2007 02:31 PM (GMT)
Lani has last rites too so it seems we'll be have the spell in abundance this time ;)

Isobel - April 20, 2007 03:00 PM (GMT)
If the rouges learn to be undead hunters then there would be less call for last rites.
perhaps it should become a pre-requisite of becoming a player you must either take last rights or undead hunting or you cant play. It will be like at school where you have to do maths and English

Trelaine who cant be arsed to lo - April 20, 2007 07:05 PM (GMT)
might be worth me buying it just to see if everyone leaps on me to avoid the unfortunate balancing act i need to do if i do use it. :)

Kd-chan - April 21, 2007 09:12 AM (GMT)
Ok, I'll (tentatively) put down to monster. Seeing as I need to swap out at least one weekend every month at work for the next 3 months, my fellow scan-monkeys may not be too happy with me... but we shall see.

Sir Niall ap Trahern - April 24, 2007 09:45 AM (GMT)
I have definitely got the time off for the summer event! :P

Largos - April 24, 2007 09:05 PM (GMT)

[I]

I have other plans for my xp - but maybe in an events or so time.

As for the dagger, grumble grumble grumble ........... sgasdyoigtsdopzghrif....i will be keeping a better eye on it next time. lol

Largos - April 29, 2007 03:01 PM (GMT)
hat about mass last rites - as has been suggested before put bodies in one pile & send em packing all at once.

Plus if they try to get up they will stuck under other bodies.

I realize that this will take up more monsters than might be available and is the lazy and damn cheeky way of doing it - so it probably won't be allowed.

But someones got to say it..........................

>KATZ< - May 1, 2007 05:52 PM (GMT)
Pete can you put me down to monster, one hopes it will be to hot to wear armour.
have fun all
see you there

Alasse Birchkin - May 1, 2007 09:42 PM (GMT)
Put me down to play, please Pete.

I've missed far too many events in a row, although I doubt my "dear brother" is feeling too aggrieved about my absence!

Let me know what deposit you need and I'll paypal it across.

Cheers
Joy

Dodgy Elf - May 2, 2007 09:34 AM (GMT)
As i can't actually kill you in character (well not while anyones watching :) ) I'm monstering this one so i get a chance to beat you after all.

kell - May 2, 2007 11:20 PM (GMT)
Hi Pete put me down to be there  monster if you need or player if you are ok for monsters

Sir Niall ap Trahern - May 10, 2007 01:26 PM (GMT)

Hi Pete
what time can we turn up on the Friday ?

Omnipotent Overlord - May 30, 2007 04:32 PM (GMT)
As usual any time from about 2pm onwards is good.

Daniel - May 30, 2007 07:41 PM (GMT)
If I don't turn up at 2pm, will you send out the search parties?

Ferret - June 4, 2007 07:49 PM (GMT)
Dodgy elf as a monster? Goodie, I get to go through his pockets and nobody will complain (least of all him, cause he'll be dead when I do!) snigger :-)

Sir Niall ap Trahern - June 4, 2007 07:54 PM (GMT)
Finally, the consumate professional, Ferret, will be at the event. We can look forward to some proper thieving. :P

Dodgy Elf - June 5, 2007 10:09 AM (GMT)
Ferret,

Hope you do a check for traps prior to sticking your hand in any pocket or pouch. I had a rat catcher character at Arborea and i still have plenty of mouse traps
