Heya All

Ok the summer event dates are looking to be the 13th-15th of July. I have still yet to hear that I can take the time off for work but thats the only thing that may cause a change and barring WW3 I should get it but seeing as you are all asking for dates I thought I would let you all know.

It will be a normal weekend event at the farm, camping as it has in previous years.

Price will be set once I have booked the toilets and such but will be around the £40-45 bracket to play and free to monster.

Ill will give more info as I get it.

Well I guess with that, booking season is open once again, Email me with character details if you want to play or your name if you want to crew.

Book me and Dan to play, he'll send you his character soon and I'd like a copy of Lani so i can spend her xp please :D

Barring an issue getting up there, Sir Val will be attending the event. I'm still thinking how to spend my XP, but will keep you updated as soon as I know.

just a thought..as we are now setting up ready for event two for the year might it be an idea to update the web page with this years events....still showing easter 2006 as the latest event.

Not forgetting the gallery is a bit dated as well!

No doubt I'll be getting my share of shouted requests for last rites. :P

I can do it as well now, but if you think I'm going to be running around like we had Daniel doing at the last event, you can think again!! The best solution will be to collect all of the bodies in one place and we can do them all a lot faster and easier.

What we need now is for all the rogues to learn the skill. at least they then have an excuse for kneeling over the bodies on the battlefield while the fight is going on. A wonder Largos hasn't trained it yet!!

Maybe Largos is too busy losing his dagger ? *sniggers* ... Sorry Largos, couldn't resist ;)

Tellos - indeed, buy strength, lug bodies into one mass centre pile.

Lani has last rites too so it seems we'll be have the spell in abundance this time ;)

If the rouges learn to be undead hunters then there would be less call for last rites.
perhaps it should become a pre-requisite of becoming a player you must either take last rights or undead hunting or you cant play. It will be like at school where you have to do maths and English

might be worth me buying it just to see if everyone leaps on me to avoid the unfortunate balancing act i need to do if i do use it. :)

Ok, I'll (tentatively) put down to monster. Seeing as I need to swap out at least one weekend every month at work for the next 3 months, my fellow scan-monkeys may not be too happy with me... :rolleyes: but we shall see.

hat about mass last rites - as has been suggested before put bodies in one pile & send em packing all at once.

Plus if they try to get up they will stuck under other bodies.

I realize that this will take up more monsters than might be available and is the lazy and damn cheeky way of doing it - so it probably won't be allowed.

As usual any time from about 2pm onwards is good.

If I don't turn up at 2pm, will you send out the search parties?

Dodgy elf as a monster? Goodie, I get to go through his pockets and nobody will complain (least of all him, cause he'll be dead when I do!) snigger :-)

Finally, the consumate professional, Ferret, will be at the event. We can look forward to some proper thieving. :P

Hope you do a check for traps prior to sticking your hand in any pocket or pouch. I had a rat catcher character at Arborea and i still have plenty of mouse traps
