It is widely known that Lord Malnear is not someone you willingly choose to upset. However it seems that one brave or suicidally stupid individual has done just that.

It was recently reported that a Bounty Hunter by the name of Kell had delivered the head of Largos to Malnear and collected the bounty Malnear had placed on Largos. Now 200 crowns richer it seems Kell has made good use of the money and dissapeared and with good reason.

In a new release from Malnear we have been given evidence that proves it was in fact Kell who murdered or arranged the murder of Malnears emissary and it was Kell who framed Largos for the crime. Kell then had the nerve to present Largos's head and claim the reward.

It is unclear whether Kell understood how close he brought the protected zone to a civil war as we have as yet been unable to speak to him about this matter as no-one can find him. Certainly most of the council members are calling for his head.

Curiously, as yet no bounty has been placed on Kell by Malnear or any of the Lords. This leads us to two potential reasons.

1) Malnear already has Kell in a Cell somewhere and is subjecting him to the worst kind of torture

2) Malnear has employed more subltle means remove Kell, it is after all not unknow for Nobles to use assassination as a tool when needs must.

Either option would explain the dissapearance of Kell, however if he is still at large you can be sure he is considered unwelcome in virtually all the lands of the Protected Zone for these actions. Malnear is reported to be livid over the whole matter and has reportedly given a full apology to the Lizard-kin over the whole matter.

Any man who brings the protected zone so close to civil war for the matter of a few hundred crowns certainly deservers anything coming to him.

It seems that Largos was an innocent in all this and lost his life to allow Kell to carry out his terrible scheme. It would not be amiss to suppose that there may be a great many people hunting Kell after this information gets out.
