Thomas sits behind his desk reading and sorting bits of paper.

Angus, armed with a broom, is sweeping the floor.

A few other people stand in the room as well, with varying types of armour and weapons, talking quietly amongst themselves.

<Tellos enters and heads over to Thomas>
Hi there Thomas, could you pass a message to Captain Daniel for me please?
Can you let him know that I am heading for Golaskanev to see if they have any more information on our order or of my ancsester.

<Looks up>

Right you are Sergeant. If you do find anything, get copies of it will you? For our records...

Of course Thomas, I'll see you get copies of everything before we decide what to release for general consumption.

*nods*

Good, good. Carry on Sergeant.

I'll be off then, see you later Thomas.

<Turns and leaves>

[Elsquare enters and quickly closes the door behind.]

"Winters definately hitting now Thomas. Be snowimg soon probably!"

[As he wanders past he drops a sheet of paper torn at the corners onto the desk]

"Seen this! Seems these new Brehons have been busy making up new laws for us to follow. Even some revisions to laws on aiding the undead."

"Probably."

Thomas picks up the piece of paper that Elsquare drops and reads it.

"Hmmm... Interesting"

"I thought that too. Thought it would be an idea to make a copy to hang up here and let Daniel and Tellos see if they haven't already. Do we have some paper and ink around so i can get it copied now?"

"Sure..."

*passes over some paper, a pen and ink*

"Great! Thanks Thomas."

[Picks up writing implements and heads out back to find a desk to sit at]

[Elsquare wanders out of the backroom and heads to Thomas]

"I've done three copies of the new laws. One for Daniel,one for Tellos and one for yourself."

[hands them over]

"I've got a letter i need to get delivered to another city. Where would I be able to hire a courier?"

[Pulls up a chair]

"On another subject perhaps you can fill me in on a few other details. Other than you, Daniel and Tellos i've never seen anyone else here! With daniel as a captain and Tellos as a sergeant I gathered there would be others around somewhere."

"When i was asked to join i was told about what i was expected to do and what mission the Warriors of light carries out but not the history of the organisation! How long has it been around and what of it's history?"

"Well, we did have some others in earlier. Despite the looks of things we do have some other recruits." *Thomas grins*

"As for history, I know this is the latest incarnation of the Order. The Order used to exist several hundred years ago. Apparently, it was the precursor to the Shield of Lars, the guards of the last King.

I can't tell you how we came to be again, all I know is I got hired to look after all the paperwork. I don't even know who did the hiring. I'm sure the Captain knows more, and Tellos has gone to search for more history about the Order."

*thinks for a moment*

"Hmm, you could probably find a courier in the market square. Or you could try the message service at the Order of Sortiledges?"

"Great i'll ask Daniel for more on the Order when i next see him"

[Stands and moves the chair back to where it came from.]

"Don't really want any mages involved so i think I'll find a messanger. Thanks Thomas"

[Walks to the door ans heads back out into the crisp air]

*enters reading from a sheet of paper*

"Thomas, has Tellos come back yet?"

*looks up from his work*

"Not that I know of, Sir. Was it something important?"

"I just wondered if he'd had any luck..." *glances back at the paper* "Hmm... I need you to do something."

*steps closer and speaks quietly to Thomas*

*nods*

"Right Sir. I'll leave now, if you wish?"

*Daniel nods*

"Shouldn't be too long, Sir."

*Thomas picks up a satchel from under his desk, stands up and leaves the building. Daniel takes a seat behind the desk and leafs through some of the papers*

*Walks into the building with Squire in tow*

"And this is our headquarters..."

Still sitting at the desk, Daniel is now talking to 5 other people, in differing armor and weaponry and pointing to a map.

"Now, you three, if you patrol over here, I'll go with you some of the way as I have business in Dwartis, then you circle back round this way. Smith, Wesson, you two can take a break."

*Looks up at Thomas and Squire while two men head off into the back and two women and a man start getting their equipment sorted*

A bundle of clothes falls from the pile on squires back.

"Morning Sir Daniel, I be ere for ya's proof if ya don't mind?"

"Hey, ummm, proof? For what?"

Elsquare enters and closes the door behind quickly and adresses the world at large.

"It's getting a bit cold out there and there's that odd greasy, tinny smell you get before a storm. How is everyone?"

"Sir, Who is this gentleman and if he ends up being hat he has said to me I will let him read some of the texts I have in my posetion."

"Oh, Thomas? My secretary. I sent him over to have a look at those scrolls. That's alright, yes?"
