Inside the door you see a reception desk with a neat stack of paper on it and 3 doorways leading off in different directions.

an elderly gentleman shuffles past you, mumbling as he sweeps the floor whilst trying his hardest not to make eye contact

*Walks through a door carrying a folder and some papers*

*frowns*

"Excuse me sir, but who are you?"

<Tellos walks in>

<Spots the elderly gentleman>

I see you've got some hired help.

a loud bang is heard from one of the corridors followed by some muttered words that you are unable to distinguish. A small tub of window cleaner rolls out of the corridor and strikes you on the foot.

"I think he's about somewhere Sergeant...

Hired help? Find out who that man is! I have no idea what he's doing here!"

*turns and shouts back through the door he came through*


"ANGUS!!"

*a muffled shout and a sqawk are heard, and then footsteps can be heard, gradually getting closer*

The elderly gentleman rushes past you cradling what appears to be a sack of jewels. He shoves the door open and disappears into the night, laughing as he goes.

"After him Sergeant!"

<as the elderly gentleman runs out of the door, Tellos gives chase>

STOP IN THE NAME OF THE GUARD

the elderly gentleman starts running and darting down alleyways and disappears into the night.

Hi Thomas, I think this belongs to the order. <places the bag of jewels on the table>

I don't know if it is all there, I didn't even know we kept sacks of jewels lying about the place!!

Uhm...

*frowns*

I didn't know we did either...

I take it you didn't catch the man?

Not yet, he was very fast for such an elderly man, there are people out looking for him as we speak and I'm just off to the Guardhouse to make a report.

*nods*

*wanders in and glances around the empty entrance hall*

*begins to speak but Thomas' arm appears from an open doorway with the first finger raised followed by Thomas saying "Be right with you, Captain."*

*Finishing what he was doing, Thomas steps out into the entrance hall*

"Alright, Sir. If you're wondering how I knew, well, trade secret sir."

*grins widely*

"What did you need, Captain?"

"Heh... I'll be going out of town for a few days, apparently somethings up at Escavon, so Tellos is going to check it out and a group of us are going with him.

You know what to do... just keep things going and all that...

*Watches as Daniel leaves, then goes back about his duties.*
