Some time ago whilst trying to apprehend Trelaine the druid who intervened in the ritual to banish the Therian threat from this world we discovered the presence of Eoden Pathfinder and he seemed to be helping Trelaine.

I am sure you know Eoden, his writings are known to most of us and he has travelled extensively to bring and brought us back a great deal of lore we thought lost to time. To find him involved with Trelaine was somewhat of a shock to us.

Most of us trusted Eoden implicitly and the idea of treachery from him was scoffed at but I chose to investigate matters further myself just to be sure.

Originally I worked on the assumption that Trelaine must have recruited Eoden and got him to help with whatever he was planning, obviously someone on the inside of the Knowledge Keepers would be a great asset to whatever Trelaine endeavours to do. This combined with the fact that Trelaine has been around for a considerable time even for an elf made much sense seeing as Eoden is much younger than Trelaine.

All makes a good deal of sense doesn’t it, except that its total rubbish. On investigation it seems that Eoden is not such a young elf after all, despite efforts to hide the fact its seems that Eoden has been around for a good deal longer than even the venerable Trelaine. We would never have know except that an ancient stash of documents was recently unearthed one of which was written by Eoden that dates him an adult before Trelaine was even conceived, assuming of course our documents of Trelaines age are correct.

Disturbingly Eoden has made several requests to access the Dark Archive. Thankfully those requests were declined and now we know there is something amiss he will never get access to it.

That he knows of its existence is a concern to us, he can only be after the information on the Therians. It took a great deal of power and skill to stop the Therians last time, we no longer have that power nor the blessing of Dergo who aided us in that task and therefore can never allow the Therians to be freed for they could not be stopped.

Find Eoden and get him to talk, we need to know what he is after and what his plans are. He is currently staying at the Brightstar inn at Dimlit.
