It took many years and a great deal of hard work but now we firmly believe that the unknown elf that interfered with the ritual to banish the Therians was an elf by the name of Trelaine.

We know little of him other than his druidic nature and a very strange personality which assists him in leading the solitary way of life chosen by most druidic types.

What is interesting and something that Quinn never mentioned at the time is that Trelaine and the famous Quinn are brothers. Why Quinn neglected to mention this or for that matter denied knowing the unknown elf was Trelaine is unclear for surely he could recognise his own brother.

This leads us to two conclusions. Firstly that the research is wrong, that the unknown elf was not in fact Trelaine.

Secondly and more disturbingly that Quinn lied for reasons of his own and that Trelaine may have been there by design instead of by accident so that Quinn had a reason to invoke the name of Dergo in the ritual and turn the ritual to his own ends.

It is my hope that one day we will learn the answer to these questions in the mean time Trelaine and Quinn should be watched closely.
