Title: Earthquake
Sir Niall ap Trahern - February 27, 2008 02:36 PM (GMT)
Earthquake (epicentre in Lincolnshire)Did anyone else experience it, like my household?

I looked up from a book, and my room was shaking. Most disturbing. Most of the people at my work slept through it, though!
Daniel - February 27, 2008 08:54 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I was up, rather freaky for the whole room to be shaking.
Delores - February 27, 2008 09:06 PM (GMT)
My room has several wind chimes, so the whole thing was rather musical.

I was drinking about my 20th cup of coffee of the day and was worried that the caffine had started to have a strange effect...was quite happy when i found out it was earthquake.

Dave freaked out and asked if I had felt the bed shaking ( we were asleep)He thought I said no ( But I actually said yes) so he thought we were being burgled or something and went all round the house checking to make sure that everything was ok.

The thought of Dave stalking through the house with his fist in the air moving from shadow to shadow popped into my head as soon as I read your post. Sad really!
I didn't feel it at all but i am quite a sound sleeper. Felt the one about 4 years ago when i was up late watching telly. Just felt like the sofa suddenly moved back and forth for a moment and all the car alarms went off.
