Thankyou all. Had a very quiet and laid back day. went in to work at 10:00 came home at 15:30 (flexi time rules) and went to cinema. Then spent next 5 hours taking part in a fleet op on EVE.
Day had one hiccup though. A rather cringeworthy moment of foot in mouth!
Got my work pension documentation that I get every year on my birthday saying how much I have put in and what my forecasted pension will be when I leave. One of the numbers given on it is death benefit to your named benefactor (Currently my parents as a singly)
So as a joke I sent a text to my mum saying how much I am worth so her if I should pop my clogs today.

Did you not get my message yesterday? Nigel (my uncle) is in intensive care. Smashed stock car up saturday. Collapsed lung, broken all ribs bar 2, sternum broken and on life support. Been told to expect the worst.
As you can imagine joke has fallen flat on it's face really.
