Title: OK, so Calvin J. is A Lion, BUT...

Is he really going to make the Lions that much better? Who's gonna throw to him? And I mean, they bite, man. They really do. Granted, he has the abilities to do great things for them, but he can't play for the whole team. Millen would have been smarter to trade that #2 pick off and stock his team, IMO.

Maybe not but he will have his own highlight section on SportsCenter each week. That guy is a Human Highlight film.

John Kitna is a very serviceable QB. He's not top of the pops so to speak, but he's more than capable. What could hurt the Lions is the lack of a running game. Without a consistent running game last season, Kitna threw for 4200+ yards, 21 TDs, with a completion % of 62.4, all for a QB rating of 79.9. Of course, he also threw for 22 INTs. They had Roy Williams a very good WR and a guy who, just 2 seasons ago, was playing Safety for the Rams, Mike Furrey. These 2 guys had huge seasons. Now imagine how much better that passing attack will be with Calvin Johnson...if the Lions could actually find a back that could stay healthy, and run the ball well at the same time, their offense would be lethal... :ph43r:

Well, we got thier coach fired the year before that, so we still own them.

DeAngelo got burned by Roy Williams this past season. God help Chris Houston when he tries to cover Calvin Johnson if we play them sometime in the next few years.
