Mustang BBQ Sauce
1 cup strong black coffee
1 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
6 ounces tomato paste
1 tablespoon hot sauce
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons onion powder
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 teaspoon file powder
1. Combine ingredients except file in a non-reactive sauce pan.
2. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and stir in file.
4. Store any left over sauce in the refrigerator.
