Apple Bistro Tart
1 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp finely shredded lemon peel
2 medium Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced
1 recipe pie crust or use Pilllsbury.s.
Unfold a Pillsbury pie crust and place on cookie sheet. Spread Caramel
Apple Dip over crust leaving a 2" border all around endge. Place apple
mixture on top. Fold pie crust edges up and over (middle will still show
the apples). Bake 20 minutes. Meanwhile, zap 1/4 cup apple jelly in
micro to melt. Brush over apple tart. Serve warm. Sift powdered sugar
over tart before serving.
Good with Vanilla Ice Cream.
