Blaze Re-Sign Thaddeus Bullard

Utah Continues to Strengthen Offensive/Defensive Line

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Blaze announce the re-signing of defensive lineman THADDEUS BULLARD (6-3, 270, Florida) to a one-year contract. Terms of the contract was not disclosed due to team policy.

"We are continuing to find ways to improve our offensive and defensive lines," said Blaze head coach and general manager DANNY WHITE. "Thaddeus was a big part of our line during the latter part of the season, and we are excited to have him back for 2008."

Bullard has five years of experience in the AFL and joined the Blaze for their final six games of the 2007 season. In those games, Bullard recorded 8.0 tackles. Prior to joining the Blaze, he spent time with Carolina (2003), Las Vegas (2004-05), and most recently, Tampa Bay (2006).

Bullard attended Florida where he played in the 1998 Citrus Bowl, the 1999 Orange Bowl and the 2000 Citrus Bowl. He received the Goodwill Gator award in 1998 and 1999 for community service and involvement and was inducted into the Florida Hall of Fame in the spring of 2000.
