Went white water rafting yesterday. Prepped for my NFL draft Saturday while having the wife's car serviced. The draft is Wed Sept 5. That's about it.

Come on guys, throw something in here.

Trying to decide on Gladiator tickets....season tix pkg or just some games.

Watching the Arena at Gwinnett Center schedule for next spring fill up.

Heard another source confirm "it" today.

Wondering if anybody will buy Nashville....or if they are history.

Will the Force draw over 10k next year?

Did or will they re-sign CJ?

Why didn't Bergeron get a look from anyone this year?

Gas was up 20 cents a gallon over yesterday.

Who will be the Falcon's 3rd string QB now that Shock is out?

Will the Braves make the playoffs?

Will this be Favre's last year?

Glad to see you two are doing OK. I was wondering.

Where did you shoot the rapids Gr8, since most rivers are almost dry now. Or so it seems. Hope it was a good trip.

And Hello again Iffy.

Do a few games and save some bucks for the Force. I know you'll attend at least one or maybe two games regardless of the venue next season.

We'll have to wait and see about that rumor. Maybe it'll work out for the best.

Nashville may go down, but lets hope not and the Force should ring up around 11k average.

I'm wondering what CJ will do as well, and I think Troy was over looked because of the knee. For now at least. Maybe he's home for good, time will tell.

Man I feel for DJ, he's a class act. When I saw that knee buckle I said OH crap. I was hoping for better news, but knew it would probably be bad.

Gas prices jump and fall more than Mexican jumping beans. It'll probably come down again after Labor Day.

Braves, wild card at best.......... but I don't really follow them anymore.

Brett will break the other records this year and be gone. It's GB's way of saying Thanks........

He may not play all season.

And I still want to see the Generals play, just gotta find time. These long azz days are about to catch up with me.

Should we invite Wee Willie over here so we'll at least have something or someone to mess with?????? :bash: :poke:

On second thought, maybe not.

I'm still here also, just don't have as much as I did. My boss (the other half) has me delievering pizza's with Domino's to help cover the kids higher education. Why do I have to help cover thier education?

Someone asked why Troy did not get a look this year, maybe because of his knee problem.

Check out this site for Gwinnett Glad tickets -- http://www.gwinnettgladiators.net/tickets/tixplans.asp

Hiya Pearli and glad to hear you're doing good as well.

Kids and higher education. I helped mine until they stopped, however, they had to contribute as well. Then after they stopped, they were on their own.

Gotta give credit where credit is due though. The oldest decided she didn't like nursing after all and went back for a teachers degree in special education. Two more semesters and she'll have her degree.

I think she will appreciate it even more, since she had to work twice as hard for it this time.

She did bring up an interesting statement the other day though. She said maybe I should have re-considered my position a little more, after all she would be the one deciding on whether I was placed in a nursing home or an assisted living center.

I said, just damn, I didn't think about that. :o

My niece must have talked to her too. She told my brother last week when he wrote the check for her college that the better education she received the more money she would make and the nicer the nursing home he was in would be.

He quit bitching and smiled saying; "let me know if you need any more!"

I'm ready not bitching, it's just taking time away from my computer time and the time to get up to date with what is going on with the Force. :)

The price of books are getting getting stupid, this semester Heather's was $500 and most of them she will not even open after listening to her professors.

Well, let me get back to what this forum is here for.

Now that the Falcons need another QB, does anyone else wonder if they might look in their farm system (Force) for a QB?

Sorry if it appeared I was implying you were bitching. Didn't mean it that way at all.

You're right about books too. My daughters were $850.00. And she'll use them maybe once or twice during the course. I think they should allow them to pay a "small" fee and just access what they need online, or electronically in the class room and print out what they need.

I thought that CG would have gotten a call from someone somewhere after his record breaking season. I would like to see what he could do in the NFL. He may flop but at least give him a shot. Maybe he will get a call soon.

On another note, I was also thinking that since things are slow this time of the year with the Arena league, maybe we'd make a thread about once a week or so for a general BS session to kind of keep the forum active, and to stay in touch of course.

Hopefully an important announcement will come soon and then there will be plenty to talk about.

And btw, has anyone been contacted about their "new seat locations" yet?

Why would anyone have to relocate their seats?

Oh.....and don't hold your breath waiting for "the announcement"........you don't want to turn blue!

That's all I'm saying for now.
