While hardly scientific in nature, some questions have come up in conversations with several people out here in Gwinnett, since the talk of the move heated up.

I have asked several people, many of whom were former STH for the Force at the Gwin, if they would be STH again or for the first time if they return. No one said yes! The responses ranged from No to doubtful to absolutely not. When asked if they would go to any games, there were No's, maybe, doubtful and "if I get some free tickets".

Most seemed much more interested in the possibility of minor league baseball and getting season tix for that. Others wanted the WNBA team at the Gwin over the Force. Some said they might consider season tix after the Force showed some level of loyalty to the facility after being there four or five years.

Looks like marketing has their work ahead if the move happens.

While I would certainly enjoy having them in my backyard again, I am starting to have my doubts about the move being good in the long run for the franchise. It seems like the Gwinnetians don't appear to be quite as forgiving as the Force need them to be.

I can understand that if those are the same folks that did not receive a survey when they left the first time. Because it seems that they can't get over not getting the survey, so why would they get back on the Force bandwagon.

I for one think that there are more new folks in that area or north of Atlanta that would increase the attendence and as we have said before, 9000 - 1000 fans would make the Gwinnett arena looked almost sold out compared to Phillips.

I think the number of fans that the Force picked up from being at Philips Arena will be more than we all think. Throw in the number of new STH's and old Gwinnett residents that will come back (it's understood not all old STH's will) and I feel we'll be at +10k on a regular basis.
