There will be a press conference sometime next week with an announcement. It looks like the move will take place, and the team will be playing their home games at Gwinnett next season.

I've been getting those emails from insiders (as in inside the organization) for several months now. While that's not 100% it does make it mighty close everytime I hear about another insider.

This insider is fairly high on the food chain and had been non-commital until yesterday.

He just received a follow up stating the press conference would be held at Gwinnett Center.........the date and time not yet etched in stone, but before the end of next week.

Well I reckon this mean that Lodi person on the OMB will be totally pizzed off now. I wonder how much hell we'll catch from him when the announcement is made?

Looks like they're running about 3 weeks late, but I guess late is better than never.
