Venison Stroganoff
2 lbs venison steak
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup mushrooms
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1. Cut meat into 3/4 inch cubes, brown in butter, and add tomato sauce and mushrooms.
2. Cover and simmer 30 minutes.
3. Add other ingredients, stir together, and simmer one hour. Extra liquid may be added to thin the consistency, if desired. Serve over rice.
The only way you'd get me to eat deer is to duct tape me to a chair and use a ring gag to hold my mouth open. Even then, you can't make me swallow.

There are also better use`s for venison than feeding it to folks that don`t want it.
Matter of fact, rifle for deer season is less than 2 weeks away and I`m hungry for fresh deer meat.
I`m gonna give Iowa`s recipe a try when my 1st one comes back from the processor.
That should be about 2 weeks from now. :)

hmmmmm, you use a processor? (someone to cut up the meat)
Save that 60 and do it yourself. The savings from 3 deer will pay for all he stuff you need.
