Buffalo Chicken Wing Sauce

This is supposedly the original Buffalo Wing Sauce. I'm not sure about that, but it rocks.

6 ounce bottle Durkee's Franks Original Red Hot Cayenne Pepper Sauce
1/2 stick butter (margarine as sub)
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper (fresh ground preferred)
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 Cup Orange Juice or 2 tablespoons of Dijon Mustard
Salt to taste

Combine ingredients in saucepan and heat to a simmer, and then cool.

Toss freshly deep-fried chicken wings with sauce. (Should coat 2 dozen wings.)

Notes:

Use Frank's and only Frank's (other hot sauces changes the taste considerably.)

Heat can be adjusted by omitting cayenne pepper and increasing butter and orange juice. Likewise heat can be increased with cayenne pepper.

Milk has also been used as a sub for orange juice or mustard. Add milk after the sauce cools.

And my preferred cooking method; It can be used as a basting sauce with similar results on grilled wings for those that limit or don't eat fried foods.

I've personally tried this sauce with all the various combinations mentioned and it's an awesome sauce for hot wings. Play around with it and enjoy.
