Over here where you don't have to be PC with the commentary........tell us what you think. Did Kubiak forget to put the free agency date in his Crackberry? Has Arthur hidden the checkbook? Don't worry, be happy! We are just flying low under the radar. New venue.....new look? Thoughts?

Subtraction......

Marcus Keys
Adam Metts
James MacPherson
Derek Lee
Reggie Doster
Chris Jackson(not officially announced yet)
Prentice Purnell
Mike Sutton(trade)
Kevin Aldridge(trade)

Addition.......

Dan Curran(trade)
Will Thompson(trade)
OL/DL Arnold Miller(waiver wire)

SIGNED

WR Kyle Smith 6.00 172 R 10.15.84 Youngstown St (our big splash in free agency so far)

Looks like Mr. Kubiak's hands are tied. You know he would get some of those FA's otherwise. This tells me Blank is selling out since he can't have the team play downtown. After all Gwinett Arena is so minor league. Why pay for a true pro team? I smell sour grapes on his part. Reminds me of the entirely P.O.ed look on Dick Sullivan at the press conference when the venue change was formalized.

I think you are reading too much into a few transactions..........

I think the upcoming signing of Markeith Cooper and Leon Murray, coupled with Vince Dooley coming on board as a "consultant" should alleviatiate any concerns you might have. 67hhers56 bhjk,tt

The subtraction here sure looks bad on my opinion. Like payroll is being reduced to increase profits, if there is such a thing, in preparing to make a move of sorts.

Maybe the "later rumor" could hold water after all.

I gotta agree with Gr8 on this one, Blank is selling the team out, HOWEVER, could that be in "more" ways than one.

btw Iffy, as you mentioned, since we don't have to be PC here, it would be great to get a few of the others over here that have knowledge as well.

MrTrans comes to mind right about now.

I don't think you disassemble a Championship team in this manner for no reason. Key pieces must be kept in place and Blank is misplacing too many keys.

I'm not that concerned.......yet.

I think our defense is still pretty stout, with a couple of holes to fill, but the foundation is solid.

On offense, it was time for D-Lee to move on......he seemed to be less and less effective in #3 receiver role and it wasn't going to get better......he thought he deserved 1 or 2 money, but he didn't. CJ is a tougher pair of shoes to fill, but we have a couple of capable receivers in the stable in Holmes and Morris and Troy will make them better. Look for a surprise FA or newcomer to be added.

Offensive line is where the problem could be. While Bruce may be capapble enough to return to Center, I like his hands at TE and backing up Popeye at FB in the red zone better than at Center every play.

All in all, while we haven't made the big splash yet, we are still floating in the pool.
