Title: Predict Now
Description: Look Like an Idiot Later

Granted they haven't even started practising, there's no final roster, we don't even know if any last minute invitees will arrive and lord knows anything about the competition, but I think it's good fun to start making predictions about the upcoming season. With that said I'll hold off on any prognostications until later as if banging on a bucket reduces my idiot factor.
Suffice it to say at this point that after six years the Force have gone from a below average team for the first three years to a championship caliber team since the arrival of Doug Plank and the change of ownership. Both are committed to a vastly superior product. Notice I said "caliber". That's not to say they have won the AB nor is to say they cannot. It's merely to clarify that the quality of the team has been sufficient to the point of having a very great chance of going all the way for at least two of the last three years. I have no solid insights as to what the potential is this year but with that record, some seriously bold moves during the off-season (FA's leaving town), loss of our OC, change of venue (again), etc. it makes me wonder.
I dream that the team will rise to the challenge once again this year only this time they will win it all. I'm ready for it as we've come so close lately only to watch the dream be dashed away with a field goal as time runs out or watch a former teammate pass on us with a vengence. It's time to bring home the bacon. It's time to go yard. It's time to go! all! the! way!. It's time for the Georgia Force to be the 2008 Arena Bowl XXII Champions!

I think the Force have a great team, and they most certainly score points in bunches...but I just can't pick against JBJ and the Soul...sorry.... :) :P

I will guarantee that we will not win as many division games this year as we did in 2007!
Beyond that, I'll wait a few more weeks before my season predictions, but I am feeling good about this season. The only FA loss of any significance is probably CJ, but I don't think he is irreplaceable and not worried about the loss of the OC at all, while the change of venue is nothing but a BIG positive.

Monday, May 12 Philadelphia Soul 8:00pm
Just brang your self on up here and we'll have a few adult beverages while the Force open's up a can of whoop-ass on the Soul.
Besides, you need to meet some of these folks that hang on over here. Great bunch of people they are.

Won't make any promises, because come May 12th, I may be a resident of Kentucky...but if I'm still here in GA, I'll figure out a way to get myself there... :)
