AFL Net is going to be free this year, but it looks like the games are more limited. Only one game shows for week 1. Force-Avengers shows on the Avenger TV schedule but that is a home game.


AFL Net Information

A couple of things here...

1. AFLNet should be free becuase the service associated with it is horrible. I have bought it the past two years and both times it has not worked worth a shat.

2. What is the deal with TV contracts? As the leagues popularity grows (as is claimed), the TV situation seems to keep getting worse. Most AFL teams seem to be without local TV contracts and fans around the league are getting increasingly upset.

I just think I sucks that I keep hearing (reading really) that it is our responsibility as fans to "get the word out" about Arena football. Really? Really?

ANyway, just my rant for the day. It doesn't matter much to b/c Iffy has offered to fly me in for a few games this year. What a gent! ;)
