Was it just the Dtrain and I, or was the Force introduction a bit rushed this afternoon? First of all, it wasn't loud (It would help if people got there on time; there was nobody in the stands at 1:00). The starting offense wasn't even announced, and we were a bit disappointed in it.
We also made it to the Gladiators game after, and the music and everything was a LOT louder at the Gladiators game. We're talking a noticeable difference. The player introduction was a lot more impressive as well.
Do you think being on ABC had something to do with it? We were thinking maybe it couldn't be as loud because of TV coverage or something.
I noticed both too. I know the intro's were rushed due to being on tv and the timing of the broadcast but the sound level shouldnt have mattered (I would guess).
What made the difference was the material given to the sound guy. It's the same guy for both events. The material given to him by the Force is not very good quality definition and was not in the format that plays better in the arena (despite them being told exactly what format to provide). The material for the Glads games was produced by him so it's fine tuned to the correct format and high quality recording that is best for the arena. Not only that but the music itself is better for the Glads games too. The comparision is not even close. I wish that guy was the producer for the music for Force games.

Yeah I think you're right. That was a huge difference between the two and hopefully the producers will realize that the Force sounds need to be a lot louder!
