Now I'm as die-hard as die-hard gets when it comes to the Gators. I grew up in Gainesville and Tampa, Florida and had a mom, two aunts and an uncle attend UF...but 61,000 for a damn spring game is a little ridiculous. Glad to see GatorNation as pumped up about this season as I am, though.
Emmanuel Moody had 111 yards and a TD on 14 carries -- finally some good news on him. He did however have a fumble that would have resulted in his second rushing TD that was recovered in the end zone by the defense. Although my optimism has somewhat died down due to all the negativity surrounding his practices, I still hold out hope that he's going to be a great addition to the team.
Chris Rainey continued to wow the coaches and fans as he ran for 79 yards on 11 carries and had a dazzling TD reception.
The Gators will once again have the #1 offense in the SEC and the defense with a year under their belts should be MUCH improved over last year.
I smell SEC Championship next year

As a Vols' fan, even I have to acknowledge the dangerous nature of the Gators this season...they appear to have all the weapons on offense that Urban needs to make his offense a true success in the SEC. Moody will a huge boost to their ground game...Tebow...well he's Tebow, and that's damn scary.
I still believe the SEC East will boil down to our heads up battle in Knoxville this year...and I like the fact that our D was extremely young last season, and got a boatload of experience. We looked great going down the stretch. Our Oline is still going to be the best in the SEC, and possibly the nation. Our RBs will be fine...and our inexperienced WRs from last season will be season veterans this year. Our 2 biggest ??? will be QB (either Crompton or Jones) and our new OC...Dave Clawson. I think we're going scare the shit out of teams after they get a look at what our new offense will be able to do...
Regardless, it's going to be one helluva season... g6wvuymh87 ;)
