Police Seek Help From Paranormal Investigators After Unexplained Events
HOMESTEAD, Pa. -- Officials with the Homestead Police Department have sought the help of paranormal investigators after several unexplained events in the station, including a typewriter that types by itself, blasts of cold air and slamming doors.
Several people have seen keys on a typewriter moving on their own inside the police department, WPXI reported.
Workers also said an attic door has continued to swing open despite it being bolted.
"Doors slamming is one of the biggest things that almost everyone in the station has heard," police station employee Denise Kelly said.
A chilling air has also been experienced in enclosed hallways and old cellblocks, according to the report.
There is also a room where staffers refuse to enter alone.
The town's mayor also said a broken-down snow plow started on its own last November without a key and battery.
Members of the Greater Pittsburgh Paranormal Society said they found something unusual in the boiler room but wanted to wait until the investigation is completed to discuss it.
