Q and A: Falcons lineman Alex Stepanovich

As a manner of introduction, three questions of offensive lineman Alex Stepanovich, who signed with the Falcons as a free agent from Cincinnati.

Q. Why did you sign with the Falcons?

A. When I met with Coach Smith I liked his attitude. I knew a bunch of guys from Ohio State were here.

Q. So, with several guys from Ohio State here, that made a difference?

A. It wasn't the main reason, but when you know people, you can get an honest opinion of what it's like.

Q. What's the one thing you've learned about Atlanta that you didn't know before you arrived?

A. It's so big. The facility is so far from downtown. The city is a lot bigger than I thought it was. There is a lot to do, but it's so big, it's a good thing.
