If you're a metal fan, don't miss this one. Dave puts on one of the best shows you'll ever see. Saw them at the Fox a couple of times, one time with Suicidal Tendencies opening for them.

Suicidal Tendencies

Did you like them? I've heard they put on a great show too.

Also, will you be checking out the Dethtour up in the NorthWest. I've been impressed with the chops those comedy writers have. I saw an interview with the two creators of Metalocalypse...they bonded because no one else would go see bands like Cannibal Corpse with them.

Boston - August 17th - Verizon Ampitheatre

Only posted this so I could add that I heard that they've replaced Brad Delp (not that he will ever be truly replacable RIP Brad) with the lead singer of the band Stryper, Michael Sweet. (what... you don't remember Stryper????) :P I think it would be interesting to see how that sounded. They have a chick in the band now, too.

From the band's website:

Seasoned Stryper frontman Michael Sweet and new fan phenom Tommy DeCarlo join BOSTON veterans Jeff Neal, Kimberley Dahme, Gary Pihl and of course, Tom Scholz on stage this summer. Gary, the longest reigning member of BOSTON next to Tom, joined the band in 1985 to help complete “Third Stage,” and through his efforts, the band reemerged in 1987 for the Third Stage Tour, which set stadium records across the US.

Man, there's a band who despite recording a few more decent albums, have never been able to top their debut. Their is not a clunker on the whole 1st album, IMO.
