So I worry and fret over my resume and do some research on companies attending and then I find out that this is basically a networking thing where the point isn't to get a job, it's just to get your name out.
I'm not even wanting to go to it but I sort of obligated myself with my girlfriend who happens to work for career services and is working at the expo. I'm like not even interested in most of these companies. I have a good job so I'm not really interested in these entry-level bitches.
On the bright side, students who attend get "free food" which I found out is actually a coupon for 3.50 off at the campus grill, just enough to get a pretzel or cookie, or a half a pretzel and some water. There is also going to be a free gas card given to a student attendee.
Top that off with free junk the companies will hand out and it makes this whole thing just a modest waste of my time.
If I win the 50 gas card then it will be worth it though

So I'm off. Fair thee well bitches!
Good luck finding a job and getting 50 bucks. Let me know if you need a reference.
I already have a job, but it was interesting because one of the companies is looking for someone to do work on a a magazine, and another called Master Tag is looking for designers. I'm going to follow up on those. Master Tag is a green company that deals with pakaging. The magazine would be cool because it's in town.
What's cool is 2 years ago I had no job or training. I stuck with college for just two years and now I have jobs and offers to turn down. My web job is not that great, the money is good since I make 300.00 to 1000.00 and basically it's all profit.
I graduate in June with an AAS with a concentration in web design. Magna Love Juice laude. My ass didn't even graduate from jr. high.
I feel pretty bad ass! 678hnn77
