Our next might be a Mac. Especially if we open up our own place. I'd like to be able to edit pics and video easily for our website, and Macs are 10X better at that stuff than a PC.

Cheap PC maybe 10X. You can set up a PC bad ass like that. II think Mac graphics are best for print. Web graphics are limited to resolution or they're vectors. I really don't know what you're doing. You could do bad ass shit in which case I'm curious.

Basically I don't know Macs, just wanted to sound like I know shit. Only thing I know is most of the web guys in my program use PC and most in the Graphics program (print) at my college use Macs.

It's mainly just editing video, maybe putting it to music, then throwing it on the blog space of a website.

Stuff like John puts on the CrossFit Boston site. Some of the videos he posts are pretty good, and he said he just edits them in standard Mac video program.

Ok, I don't know squat about video editing. But just because someone says they make cool shit a certain way don't mean it neccessarily will work for you. He probably has a lot of experience with a Mac. Not saying you don't, I'm just saying.

I'm going to go click the link

The 2 videos that I asked Jon hod he did them are on the 7th page now. From )2/19/08.

Linky to page 7 of his blog.

They're really simple vids, be he said that the Mac comes with a video editing program that lets you put the text graphics and music on there real easily.

I know you can embed vids with Flash. I don't know a whole lot but I'm sure you can get video editing software that does what he does. He's only using software. The Mac isn't that important for those type of vids. Get a video editing program and save yourself some bucks.

You get a mac and you have to buy all new software. That's pretty much the only thing holding me back from gettin a mac.
