Let me 'splain something It's not that I'm actually adverse to it, but the thing is, should we REALLY create another forum that only a cpl. people would sometimes post in that we have to keep an eye on when threads can be posted here in chatterbox and posted in easily? It seems like a headache to me. If there's enough active posters that would post in it, it may not be a problem, but I'd need a lot more members actively wanting it and committed to it before I'd do that.

Think of it this way, aside from a consistent appeals from users for an BBall forum, how do you know others who had joined but pretty much left wouldn't have frequented a NBA forum?

You have threads only a few users use anyway (like that links to other site forum and even the recipe forum). :o

These spin off boards pretty much get traffic from the OMB and there is usually a lot of b ball talk, especially around the playoffs -- I know, I used to participate.

If it's so obvious then why you talking about a whole forum harldy anyone will use.

The recipe forum has a lot of posts but they are mostly just 2 or 3 people posting and once in a while bordem strikes and people will sometimes look.

The not doing stuff because of some absolutely bustable reason is getting old.

With all due respect the recipe forum is a good place to get new ideas for the shit we need to live on and ham sandwiches are replace by some new treats.

I'm not knocking the recipe forum or suggesting it be done away with. Iowa was talking about no b ball forum because only a couple people would use it. I was just giving examples of forums that are there and aren't much used by the general poster. They were counter examples in hopes of ridding a hurdle obstructing the path to a possible B Ball forum.

And there is also no goddamn reason you can't just start a thread just as easily in here where more people are likely to see it. Hell, I'll even pin your ass an NBA thread up in here.
