Brittingham to the Falcons
The other half of the Lower Bucks circle on draft day was completed Sunday evening when Neshaminy Jamar Brittingham signed a free agent contract with the Atlanta Falcons.
A finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy as the Division II player of the year for his achievements at Bloomsburg, Brittingham set school records for career rushing (5,689), all-purpose (6,867) and most points scored (516).
He had worked out for the Falcons twice in the pre-draft process. The club was also in contact with Brittingham’s agent, Jerrold Colton, as the seventh round got underway about him signing with the team if he wasn’t drafted.
