I love metal, but I can't get into most of the new stuff with the cookie monster vocals. So this thread is about pure British Steel.

Black Sabbath - Neon Knights I always liked Sabbath with Dio more than Ozzy.

I don't have the channel anymore, but I think Sundance was playing some concerts for a while there. Did you catch that Black Sabbath w/Dio? It was a pretty recent show, cause Dio was showing his age, but they rocked the house anyway.

Dio makes all these other posers look like the Diet Coke of Evil. 8DRTV75

Holy Diver is also one of the best songs evah...

I don't know England from Britian, but I do know classic Iron Maiden rocked the entire world.

I love Iron Maiden, great band. Fear of the Dark is my favorite album by them.

Dio and Sabbath got back together a couple of years ago under the name Heaven and Hell.

Ozzy and $haron have the rights to the Black Sabbath name now I think, and no way were they gonna let Iomi use it to play with Dio.

More great Dio era Sabbath

More my speed for modern metal.

I also really like Trivium. If they could catch the brutal music of the first album and combine it with the way Matt Heafy sings on the second album, they'd have a modern epic.
