Sounds like he's got a level head, I'm sure he'll stay with a Ford.

I've owned two chevy's and one VW, all the rest have been fords, the only ones that gave me MASSIVE problems were the chevys,.. guess why I'm biased.

But the point being, his commentary was funny.

yes it was....

i've had a cavalier now since my senior year starting in '02 and its a '96 and well over 185,000 miles, but the thing is running like a beauty. But i've been saving up now for over 5 years now in $$$$$ so i can buy my uncles 2001 convertable corvette.........black on black w/ only 75,000 miles on it. And possibly keep the cavalier for off road adventures...haha.

When I was married and putting my now ex-wife thru nursing school one of our cars was a ford escort hatchback with the 4 cylinder,..we had 312,00 miles plus on it before it broke it's third timing belt and I sold it. You think I may lie, because it sounds nuts, and I don't blame you, but it's true. It had about 45,000 on it when we bought it, but damn we used it up. It still ran great and would probably would have again if I had replaced it again. But she wanted something newer, (which she took after the divorce) and I sold it to a scrapyard. Change the fluids regularly on a ford 4-cylinder and don't try to run the hell out of them and they will run forever.

wow, thats a lot of miles. Thats bogus bout what your exwife did man.......makes me realize that marriage isn't what its all made up to be. I don't know how i would feel if i got rid of my cavalier ya know.....having a car this long i kind of treat it like my kid.
