JDaveG called a little while ago to let me know that our father was just taken to the hospital for what appears to be a mild heart attack (not really such a thing as a mild heart attack, but you get the idea). We don't have all the details as of yet, but by all accounts it does not appear to be critical.

Anyway, for those inclined I know that JDaveG and our family appreciate if y'all would keep our father in your thoughts and prayers.

Quick update, if I can remember the right details from the phone call from JDaveG...

100% blockage of the LAD. Bad stuff, but they got him in the cath lab in time to clear things up. Doctors said he was VERY lucky to get treatment when he did.

He'll be in the hospital for the rest of the week, but from all accounts it sounds like he dodged a bullet big time.

I'm going to drive back to Georgia in the next few days so I probably won't be online much, and I suspect JDaveG won't be around as much either.

We went fishing again this morning. Nothing but a bunch of tiny bluegills until we discovered a sweet little "honey hole" tucked away just out of site that had some good sized bluegills. We'll have to get the niece out there sometime, but we're not going to tell JDaveG where it's at. fgtb76
