Title: Pay your Tag on Time

So I was a 1 1/2 weeks late on tag. Been working out of town, so really didnt have time to go by, figured to eat a $5 per vehicle charge, $15 bucs. Then in stepped Savannah- Chatham County parking nazis for $79 and Savannah PD for $101. So I paid in penalties more than the freaking permit costs.

Must not be enough local money for those bitches. :bash:

I once went 9 months and 3 weeks on an expired tag before a policeman pulled me over. I got my tag (plus the $10 late fee), showed it to the cop, and he dropped the ticket.

They charge us $10 late fees here. This was the first year I got my tags on time.

I always forget about it, until I'm pulled over. They used to send notices before the tag expired. I think the fine is $50 though; nothing like yours.

I had a ticket once for an expired tag and it was over $100.
