Title: Soul Back on Track
Description: Time for the march to the playoffs...

Soul 51
Destroyers 43

D'Orazio was 19 for 23 for 284 yards and 7 TDs. Brackins and Jackson combined to receive 207 yards and 5 TDs. Our D is still on the mend, but this is still Arena Football, so as long as our O keeps putting up the points, we'll be alright until the D is fully healed and back on the field.

But can they stay on track...........

Having dropped two thus far, the Soul face KC this week. With nothing to loose and everything to brag about, this could be a tough game for Philly with a few more injuries headed into their bye week.

At 2-9 this could be like the Arena Bowl game for KC and teams with losing records are very dangerous. The Force illustrated that a few weeks ago.

On the 7th, after a bye week, they travel south and the revenge factor will play a huge part in Dallas. I expect a lot of bruises and busted egos after that one. Besides, the record doesn't look that great this year for teams after the bye week. Seems it's working against them instead of in their favor.

Being banged up even more, they return home and host division rivals Cleveland in the final home game and we all know how the first meeting went this year. I think Cleveland will prevail again since they know they have the horses to get it done.

Then they close out on the road in NY with the Dragons. Another tough place to win.

Philly may win the division, but at this point, even that is questionable.

I'm calling it like this. They will lose to Dallas and either Cleveland or NY. And don't write off KC just yet.

Either way, 12-4 (possibly 11-5) is a respectable record, where I expect the Soul to finish.

As for the Force, who knows?? Our roster changes weekly so I don't have a clue who will be playing next week.

....Tiger Jones did more than this by himself......and on the road against a team with a winning record and a five game(snapped) winning streak, not hosting a lowly Columbus team. Philly has a tough stretch down the road to the finish line.

Oh well....losing by a TD to KC was definitely a bummer. The D is still banged up, and it showed tonight. I'm getting that 2007 feeling all over again, where we started out hot, cooled in the middle because of injuries, and picked up steam again going into the playoffs. This year we've got D'Orazio, and it's definitely proven a nice luxury to have him as Graz's backup...all in all, we're a better team than last year, and we should finish stronger than we did last season...though even I have to admit that a few more hiccups like tonight, and I'll be calling for Jaws' head... :P :D

In all seriousness, I think we'll finish the season strong, and truly take over in the playoffs once we're back to full strength. ;)

Wasn't getting cocky and complacent the very thing that allowed us to beat you guys last go around? Keep it coming.....

I doubt that it was cocky or complacent...more like injured...and of course a great deal of luck... :)
