Cranberry Bread
1 cup sugar (for over the cranberries)
1 cup cranberries, cut up
1 egg, beaten
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons butter, melted
1 cup milk
3 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1. Cut up the cranberries and pour the 1 cup of sugar over them.
2. Mix well and refrigerate over night.
3. Mix all the wet ingredients together until smooth.
4. Add the dry ingredients and mix well.
5. Fold in the cranberries and nuts.
6. Pour into a greased loaf pan.
7. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
