This actually happened, and the trial was finalized yesterday..he is guilty, and facing up to 84 years in prison...hopefully, it will end up in the paper soon (how do I know? A co-worker was on the jury)

A man was out partying in Indio, CA and got home about 2 am, the next morning, at about 6 am, the sheriffs department was at his apartment complex to write a ticket for a vehicle violation...nothing to do with him. Well, he goes outside telling the cops it isnt his, someone planted it. Cops asked what wasnt his...he tried to play it off, but the cops, now with probable cause, went into his house, and found on top of the TV a baby's pacifier in between a bag of pot and some crystal meth. Thats not all...he also had bomb making materials, as well as a COMPLETED bomb in his house. Did I mention the part about him being a felon, and part of his probation included NOT being around firearms, and that includes gunpowder. He says the mexican mafia planted it there because he wanted out of the gang...Jury found him guilty of all counts...drug posession, firearms possesion of a felon, child endangerment, as well as a host of other offenses...

Hopefully this will be in the papers after the sentencing phase is over...oh yeah, this happened in the Joshua Tree Courthouse of San Bernardino County, CA. He lived in 29 Palms, CA
