Atlanta's Dez White injures knee against Jags
The Associated Press
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Atlanta Falcons receiver Dez White hurt his knee Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars, adding to the team's injury problems at that position.
White was Atlanta's third-leading receiver last season, catching 30 passes for 370 yards in his first year with the Falcons.
He hurt his knee in the first half against the Jags and was not expected to return. Team officials were unsure about the extent of the injury.
Atlanta also played without receivers Roddy White and Peerless Price.
Roddy White, the team's first-round draft pick, has been sidelined since sustaining a high ankle sprain in the preseason opener.
Price, the former No. 1 receiver who was demoted this year and is in danger of being cut, is still suffering from a concussion sustained last week against Tennessee.
Looks like our reciever situation could sort itself out, and not in a good way n7rryb
i was thinking that when i read it, it mentions that 3 WR's are now injured. kind of worrying
