Title: Tivo Rocks

Beernuts - August 26, 2005 01:01 PM (GMT)
in case you did not already know this, Tivo totally rocks - I had to put my son to sleep at 8:00 last night - took half an hour - then anohter half hour to get dinner together - sat down with dinner and a beer at 9:00 and watched kick off!!

I would have caught up by the end of the third quarter, but decided to go to sleep instead

I love Tivo

Which is the better option TIVO or DVR?

Beernuts - August 26, 2005 02:43 PM (GMT)
I think Tivo is a DVR - this is actually our second Tivo - first one died after a few years - I was holding out for the Comcast DVR and finally gave up because (i) they had been promising it for six months and still don't know when it is coming out and (ii) I heard the user interface for Tivo is easier

Tivo is real easy - my two year old son is using it now

If you have Direct TV, they are running a special now that you can get upgrade your reciver to whichever DVR system they use for only $50 if you switch it yourself, or $100 if they come in and switch it for you.
