Title: What's your weekend plans?
Iowahorse - August 26, 2005 10:33 PM (GMT)
I myself have none. (No suprise there)
If I do anything I'll go down to the shop and work on a project I shoulda had done already. Well, at least I should be further along with it.
May try to get my printer to work. (Never has)
Other than that, I'll sit on my butt and tell the dog "No!" about 700 times.
tallygal73 - August 26, 2005 10:42 PM (GMT)
Only 700? You must be a great trainer....
Rachel meets with her soccer coach and team tomorrow...other than that, not much else planned specifically.
Alfred E. Neuman - August 26, 2005 11:52 PM (GMT)
I'm gonna get on my bike tomorrow at 6 AM and go on a leisurly ride for 4 or 5 hours. Then rest a little and do some work around the house. Then I'm gonna ride to the pizza joint and eat pizza and drink beer until I ride home crooked.
Probably ride a couple of hours Sunday morning, then wash the dog and read a book.
Pretty boring for most people, but heaven for me. :)

If I ever get to the east coast...we gotta ride together, ok? Well, ok, for the first 15 minutes anyway until I pass out.
My plans are simple...I will be coaching my U-18 girls soccer team in the Hansons Cup Tournament (for southern Cali) on saturday and sunday, and I will referee a couple of games for the tourny as well. Busy busy busy...
link to my teams bracket (we are the regulators)and be nice if we dont stomp on everyone...this is my first invitational tournament, and it involves some of the best recreational soccer talent in southern Cali.
Alfred E. Neuman - August 27, 2005 12:11 AM (GMT)
Sure thing on the ride. If you're playing competetive soccer, you won't have any trouble keeping up with me.
I've gotten more into touring and randonees than racing, so I don't worry about speed other than to make sure I don't miss a control point on an randonee.
Ray70 - August 27, 2005 12:19 AM (GMT)
are you duckettfan cause i know duckettfan has the same avatar
UK - August 27, 2005 12:23 AM (GMT)
no plans yet actually.
i need to get some petrol for my car so i might do that tomorrow morning, pick up some lunch, come home and tidy the house before my parents get back from their holiday. spend the rest of the day with them.
not sure about sunday yet.
CindyMac - August 27, 2005 12:30 AM (GMT)
I have to work tomorrow. We have a prospect in town with his family and they want to look around.
Sunday - maybe scrapbook a little and housework.

I dont play...I just coach. I do most of the exercises with them, but not the same as playing the game
Bam_19 - August 27, 2005 01:41 AM (GMT)
I'll be going to a party on saturday other than that work
MV4MVP - August 27, 2005 02:49 AM (GMT)
My 5 year old has his first football game tommorow. It's an
all day thing with weigh ins and bunch of crap.
daredevil2-5 - August 27, 2005 04:46 AM (GMT)
Workout, finish some homework, search for porn, catch some preseason games.
shay - August 27, 2005 07:57 PM (GMT)
Sleep when I can. My son has been at my house since his birthday (Wednesday) and he stays up all night, like I am used to doing. We watched a movie last night (Ray with Jamie Foxx), and who knows tonight. He is eating me out of house and home, so I am glad when he does sleep, since that is the only time he isn't eating. I have been going to the grocery store on a daily basis while he is here. He is on leave for a total of 3 weeks and is splitting his time between me and his Dad. Tonight I want to watch Bristol, but don't know yet what he wants to do.

An update from todays games...we tied the first one 2-2 and tied the second one 1-1. Both games were played in over 100 degrees, with very high humidity. Our first game was at 1230, and it ended at 2:00, with our second game starting at 3:30...so I am very proud of how they stayed in the game under that intense heat. 2 more games tomorrow...wish me luck!

Congrats on yer team, Ugly. B)
All I'm saying is this damn weekend is turning out to be entirely more work and hassle than I ever anticipated.
And I think that's about all I gotta say about that. ;)

Rachel had her 1st ever soccer practice/meeting yesterday. She was filthy when it was over. It had rained off and on most of the day before practice and the field was quite mucky...
The coach came up to her after it was over and told her that she'd done a very good job for someone that's never played before.
There was not a section of dry hair on her head after practice; it was soaked with sweat...gotta love the south in the summer after the rains. Hot and humid and nasty...

That's good tho, if she's all, sweaty, stinky, dirty, muddy etc. Thats a pretty good sign a kid is having a good time.

Since it is the weekend, I am getting more sleep, but not as much as I would like. My son is leaving tomorrow and I will miss him. My cupboards and fridge will be bare, too. :P I have watched a couple of movies this weekend that I wouldn't have taken the time to watch because he wanted to. Been a decent weekend, my Mom cooked Sunday dinner for us and it was awesome! :)
