FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -- The Flagler County sheriff calls it the worst case of elderly exploitation he's ever seen.
Gary Guinette was arrested and charges with stealing around $700,000 in cash and property from an 83-year-old Alzheimer's patient.
According to the sheriff's office, Guinette used coercion and intimidation to get the woman to sign checks over to him and place him on the deed of her $500,000 home.
Guinette is in the Flagler County jail.
