What would you say to a candidate who would take votes away from the fundie the Repubs are going to have to run?
I really think a true fiscal super-conservative, social liberal could take some votes away from the side of the Republicans who is fed up with the current "bible belt" mentality of the party, but just can't vote for a Dem.
If the Libertarians could get a candidate to run who brings enough name to the table to get into the national debates, he could pull alot of votes.

That's a trick question. Everyone knows republicans are zombified and they never vote outside of their party :D

I don't know. There HAS to be a failry large contingent who get queasy every time W strokes the religious right and talks about putting ID into public school.

I'd have to see who the other candidates and what their platforms were going to be before making a call on who I'd vote for....sometimes, well ok MOST times in politics it's about voting for the lesser of all the other evils on the ballot... :)

The Walken thing was a skit on SNL, if I'm not mistaken...however, were he legitimately running for President, I'd strongly consider him for my vote. Hell, he can't do any worse of a job than say the previous 4 Presidents have... 98k898
